Research Projects

AlGaN/GaN HEMT Electrothermal TCAD Modeling

Built coupled electrothermal TCAD models of AlGaN/GaN HEMTs to characterize self heating, junction temperature behavior, and DC/RF performance trade offs across bias conditions. Calibrated material parameters, mesh strategy, and contact models against published device data; translated device level findings into implications for process integration, reliability, and yield.

Vertical GaN Power Devices

Investigated vertical GaN power devices for high voltage applications. Characterized device performance, analyzed breakdown behavior, and contributed to fabrication process work in the lab.

Memristive Devices

Worked with memristive devices in the lab, including device characterization and basic crossbar array configurations.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

ECE 3243: Introduction to Nanotechnology

Lab teaching assistant for the undergraduate Introduction to Nanotechnology course. Supported students through experiments and held office hours.

ECE 3001: Electromagnetic Fields and Waves

Lab teaching assistant for the undergraduate Electromagnetic Fields and Waves course. Supported students through experiments and held office hours.

Cascade Microtech probe station, SEM, AFM, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, and ellipsometry.

Sentaurus TCAD and Silvaco TCAD for device process co simulation and electrothermal modeling.

Python for data analysis and automation, MATLAB for device modeling, and LaTeX for technical documentation.
